Congratulations to the class of 2010
Congratulations to ACSstudents, their parents and ACS staff for achieving excellent InternationalBaccalaureate (IB) Diploma exam results, with most graduates securing a placeat their university of choice.
This year a total of 111 students acrossour three schools were awarded an IB Diploma, with Yurika Takahashi, from ACSHillingdon, securing a maximum score of 45, placing her in the top 0.5% of IBDstudents worldwide. In addition, 7 of our students scored 40 points and above,with 70 attaining 30 points and above (the IB pass mark is 24 points). The totalACS point average was 33 (the international average is 29), with a 94% Diplomapass rate (the international average is 80%). These are outstanding results,and especially rewarding as ACS welcomes students with a broad range ofacademic abilities and encourages them to pursue this demanding programme. Wewish all our graduates every success in their further studies, knowing they arebest prepared to meet the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
